About

My work begins with looking. With an open gaze I observe the world, and in that act of seeing I begin to transform it. Drawing and painting are not for me means of representation, but instruments of inquiry and are ways to measure and touch what often remains unseen: emotions, memories, the fragile architecture of human experience.

I move between realism and surrealism, guided by the academic style and the fluidity of imagination. Subjects come and go, shifting as life shifts. Each work carries traces of what I absorb: a moment of grief, a fleeting joy, the quiet weight of silence. To work is to enter into dialogue with these forces, to let them reshape me before I shape them on canvas.

What draws me, and what I research this year, is the concept and idea of home. Not as a single place, but as a line that shifts between presence and absence. A country left behind, unreachable, still outlines the way I move through other spaces. I circle the question: when does a place begin to turn into home? Perhaps only in the faint crossing between memory and walls, silence and trace.

Making art is, for me, a spiritual exercise. A descent inward, to the source from which images rise. From there, they extend outward—offering not answers but invitations. I want my work to be a place where others pause, reflect, and recognize something of their own interior world.

What interests me most is not the image as a final form, but the possibility it opens: that art might shift the way we perceive, and in doing so, the way we exist in relation to each other.
