Starting my artistic journey in 1986, the desire to create art that I attained soon became an unyielding obligation to myself to explore the inner mechanism of my creative consciousness. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself.
I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in many collaborative projects, as well as exhibiting in a solo capacity, which has solidified my reputation in the art world. If you would like to find out more about my process, get in touch.
Anna Ulyashyna explores freedom and its physical manifestation in her work. Her style is realistic, her choice of style is aesthetic, in response to the human need for beauty and the human ability to create that beauty.
In her most recent series, people float. The moment that you are in the air, you can make it last from within to infinity. Her work asks you to let go of expectations and the system, and to allow yourself to speak inside, regardless of a landing. Floating, freedom, is therefore also the intense trust to be received.
Anna grew up in Belarus where she attended the Art Gymnasium in Minsk. She has lived in the Netherlands since she was eighteen. She attended the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. Her work has been exhibited worldwide.
